When the masterpiece was served, the smiles on my family’s faces said it all. From that point onward, I found myself increasingly drawn to the kitchen. Cooking became not just a hobby but a way of life. Fast forward to today, I am 20 years old, and I’ve amassed a whopping 13 years of culinary experience. Throughout this incredible journey, I’ve honed my skills, experimented with diverse cuisines, and developed a profound understanding of the art of cooking. Each day in the kitchen has been a revelation, a delightful exploration, and a testament to my unwavering passion.
The idea of sharing my culinary experiences with the world was brewing within me, but I was uncertain about the medium. It was my dear friend Ahmed who provided the spark that led to TasteTidbits.com. We brainstormed various options like starting a YouTube channel, a Facebook or Instagram page, or even venturing into TikTok, where many culinary enthusiasts have found success.
However, as I delved deeper into the culinary world, I realized that, despite the allure of videos and quick tutorials, there’s a timeless charm to written words and the enduring curiosity of food enthusiasts when it comes to cookbooks and recipes. The satisfaction of flipping through the pages, imagining the aromas, and recreating dishes step by step was something that transcended trends and technology.
